43rd Winter Sports World Competition Golden Flight Level in Sweden

Golden Flight Level, the 43rd winter sports world competition among air traffic controllers, was held in the town of Riksgransen (Sweden).

Golden Flight Level, the 43rd winter sports world competition among air traffic controllers, was held in the town of Riksgransen (Sweden). Moscow Ski Folks team of the State ATM Corporation’s Moscow ATC Centre secured second place in the overall ranking behind the Swiss team. Dmitry Butskov was the first in cross-country discipline and Igor Morozov won the first place in alpine skiing tournament for those aged 50+.

During the closing ceremony, the symbolic hammer of the Tournament President was handed over to the Russian representatives as the next Golden Flight Level will be held in Russia. Sergey Polozov, ATC instructor of Moscow TCC and Moscow Ski Folks team captain was appointed GFL-2019 President. The 44th winter sports world competition will be held in Rosa Khutor Resort (Sochi, Russia) from 26 January to 2 February 2019. Many ATCOs teams are expected to take part in this sporting event.
