50th European Controllers’ Cup Commences in Madrid

The 50th European Controllers’ Cup started in Madrid, Spain, yesterday. For the fifth time in a row, the State ATM Corporation team will be defending its title as the strongest team of the Old World.

Apart from the Russia team, Russian controllers will be represented at the sporting event by one more team from the State ATM Corporation, team Moscow. A total of 48 teams will take part in the tournament, divided into 8 groups. Team Russia has been drawn into group B, while team Moscow will play in group D, where it will meet last year’s finalist, team Reims. The tournament will conclude on 6 May.
