AMHS Сonnection between St. Petersburg and Erevan COM Centres

On 17-18 August 2017 the State ATM Corporation held a meeting with “ArmAeroNavigation” CJSC (Republic of Armenia). The State ATM Corporation was headed by Director General Igor Moiseenko, “ArmAeroNavigation” CJSC was represented by Director General Artur Gasparyan.

The meeting discussed measures, necessary for the implementation of AMHS protocol between international St. Petersburg and Erevan AFTN (com) Centres. Today a low rate AFTN telegraph channel connects Rostov-on-Don and Erevan COM Centres. The new AMHS channel will contribute to better ATS data exchange and ensure reliable backup. The communication channel between St. Petersburg and Erevan COM Centres is planned to be established by the end of 2017.

AMHS system testing is scheduled for the next year.
