Athlete from the Moscow ATC Centre wins all classes of medals at the AWPC World Powerlifting, Bench Press, Deadlift and Multi-Repeat Bench Press Championship
Marina Kamyshnikova, Specialist, Corporate Social Policy Department of the Moscow ATC Centre branch of FSUE “State ATM Corporation”, has become a winner in the AWPC World Powerlifting, Bench Press, Deadlift and Multi-Repeat Bench Press Championship held in Kursk on 10-14 August 2016.
Marina Kamyshnikova, Specialist, Corporate Social Policy Department of the Moscow ATC Centre branch of FSUE “State ATM Corporation”, has become a winner in the AWPC World Powerlifting, Bench Press, Deadlift and Multi-Repeat Bench Press Championship held in Kursk on 10-14 August 2016. The World Championship, which was held together with the WPC World Champions Cup, brought together a record 1,300 athletes from 20 Countries, including Russia, the U.S., the UK, Germany, France, Israel, Mongolia, Iran, Azerbaijan, etc. The athletes competed in three divisions: raw, single-ply and multi-ply. The panel of judges was chaired by WPC President Mike Sweeney (U.S.)
The athlete from the Moscow ATC Centre participated in three AWPC nominations in the open drug-tested division in the under 52 kg weight class. As a result, Marina Kamyshnikova won a gold medal in Deadlift, breaking her personal record with a result of 135 kg; a silver medal in Multi-Repeat Bench Press; and a bronze medal in Bench Press. It is worth mentioning that the employee of the State ATM Corporation had previously won honourable first places in powerlifting at the WPC/AWPC World Cup 2015 (Kursk) and the AWPC 2014 Powerlifting World Championship (Moscow).
The athlete dedicated her victory to the 20th anniversary of her Corporation, noting: “This is not just my victory, but a victory for the entire Moscow ATC Centre. I have made every effort to win these medals, but this is not the limit. I am thankful for my colleagues’ support, we have common goals: to be physically fit and mentally strong, so that we can work for the benefit of our Enterprise”.
