Controllers Football Tournament in the Netherlands

On 4-9 June 2007 the 40th European football cup among air traffic controllers’ teams took place in the Netherlands (Amsterdam). 51 teams from 32 countries participated in the event including a picked team of the State ATM Corporation “Rossiya” and its branch “Moscow Air Traffic Control Centre”.

This tournament was 40th in succession and 20th in which Russian air traffic controllers participated. Participation of “Rossiya”, State ATM Corporation picked team, was a success. The team came in ninth.

The winner of the tournament was a young team from Kiev (Ukraine). The “Will to Win” Cup established by the State ATM Corporation in 2005 was awarded to the team from Munich (Germany).
