Coordination meeting between State ATM Corporation and Air Traffic Management Bureau of CAAC
A two-day ATM/CNS coordination meeting between FSUE “State ATM Corporation” and Air Traffic Management Bureau of Civil Aviation Administration of China (ATMB, CAAC) was held in Beijing. The high-level discussions were attended by Directors General – Mr. Igor Moiseenko and Mr. Jinjun Che.
During the first day of the meeting both sides exchanged information about air traffic volumes, ATM systems recent developments and plans for 2019, discussed RNAV route interface issues between the Russian Federation and PRC. Outcomes of the transition to horizontal separation minima for ATS between Shenyang/Harbin ACCs and Khabarovsk ACC via ARGUK, MAGIT, SIMLI and BISUN were reviewed. Special attention was paid to technical and organizational issues related to the implementation of AMHS interaction between Khabarovsk and Beijing COM centres, voice and non-voice communication between Khabarovsk and Shenyang ACCs and establishment of a communication circuit between Irkutsk and Hailar ACCs. The parties exchanged information on ATC and engineering personnel training in the Russian Federation and China.
During the second day, the delegation of FSUE “State ATM Corporation” paid a visit to Beijing Capital International Airport tower and approach control centre. Beijing Capital International Airport is the largest airport in China, ranking second world's busiest airport. State ATM Corporation experts got familiar with approach procedures, control centre equipment and ATC personnel work organization and rest periods.
Both sides agreed to have the next coordination meeting in the Russian Federation in 2019.
