FSUE “State ATM Corporation” and ENAV Held Negotiations in St. Petersburg

On 16-17 July, the “North West Air Navigation” branch hosted negotiations between the representatives of the State ATM Corporation and Italy’s air navigation services provider ENAV. The Russian delegation was headed by Director General Igor Moiseenko and the Italian side was represented by ENAV CEO Roberta Neri. The meeting was a follow-up to the bilateral dialogue held in June 2017 (Rome).

The State ATM Corporation made detailed presentations on the large-scale preparatory work performed prior to the FIFA World Cup 2018. Furthermore, the Russian side informed their Italian colleagues about the corporate social policy, ACC consolidation progress and GBAS installation and operation.

ENAV representatives reported on the strategic development plans of the Company, shared their experience on UAS flight operations and deployment of remote ATC technologies.

The meeting was held in a spirit of partnership, the parties discussed prospects for further bilateral cooperation as part of the previously signed Memorandum of Understanding and agreed to strengthen coordination in a number of areas pertaining to the development and introduction of advanced ATM technologies.
