MAKS-2015 Major Outcomes
State ATM Corporation took part in the joint exhibition booth of Russia’s civil aviation companies under FATA at the recently concluded MAKS-2015 International Aerospace Show at Ramenskoe airfield, Moscow region.
State ATM Corporation took part in the joint exhibition booth of Russia’s civil aviation companies under FATA at the recently concluded MAKS-2015 International Aerospace Show at Ramenskoe airfield, Moscow region. Also, a Beechcraft King Air 350i flying lab owned by Aerocontrol Branch and designed to conduct flight inspections, was presented at a static parking stand where it enjoyed great success among the visitors. During the airshow, FATA chalet arranged by the State ATM Corporation was visited by Maksim Sokolov, Russia’s Minister of Transport, Deputy Transport Minister Sergey Okulov and other high level officials. Aleksandr Neradko, Head of FATA, held a range of business meetings with Russian and foreign delegations.
The high level of the MAKS-2015 being one of the most prestigious aerospace exhibitions worldwide, was proven once again this year by active business participation of the largest domestic and international companies. Igor Moiseenko, Director General, State ATM Corporation, and the Corporation’s management team conducted meetings with Rohde & Schwarz (Germany), Piaggio Aero (Italy), JSC Almaz-Antey, JSC Azimut etc. Another significant development of the MAKS-2015 was the visit of the flying lab by executives of the CAA of Mongolia.
Moreover, it is worthy to note the contribution of Moscow Automated ATC Center, State ATM Corporation’s Branch, during this ambitious aerospace show. The Center’s personnel performed extensive preparations to ensure non-conflict airspace usage and provide flight safety during the in MAKS-2015 within Moscow airspace. Owing to efforts of the ATS staff the intensive flight programme of the Show did not impact the operation of Moscow airports. All regular civil aviation flights during 25-30 August operated as planned and scheduled.
