New Control Tower Put into Operation in Krasnoyarsk

A new control tower has been put into operation at Krasnoyarsk ATS Centre of the Central Siberia Air Navigation branch. Yemelyanovo aerodrome tower will handle flights of Yemelyanovo and Cheremshanka aerodromes located in Krasnoyarsk.

The tower building is the tallest in Russia with the height of approx. 63 metres.

The new building is equipped with advanced technical aids to provide automated air traffic control, which will increase operational capabilities of aerodrome control centre and enhance interaction with Automated ATM System of Krasnoyarsk ACC.
