North-West Air Navigation Branch and ANS Finland Hold Working Meeting

As previously agreed, a working meeting was held on 26 November 2019 between representatives of State ATM Corporation’s North-West Air Navigation branch and Finland’s ANSP, ANS Finland.

The parties discussed the planned implementation of an extended OLDI package (transfer of control phase) between Saint Petersburg and Helsinki ACCs in April 2020, further development of the ATS route network and new routes via RATLA and KOKAT. In addition, the meeting addressed communication issues with the view of migrating the OLDI server from the obsolete X.25 protocol to FMTP, with testing tentatively planned for March/April 2020, as well as tests of extended AMHS services supporting FTBP between Helsinki and Saint Petersburg COM centres.

The participants of the meeting, which was characterized by an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding, reaffirmed their commitment to further development of bilateral cooperation.
