Saint Petersburg ACC Implements New ADEXP Format for OLDI Inter-Machine Protocol

The new data transfer format will allow using an advanced OLDI message package to enable automated transfer of control from one ACC to another.



This will raise ATCO situational awareness and contribute to improved safety of area control within the North-West Air Navigation branch airspace.

The implementation of the technology has been made possible through the coordinated efforts of professionals from the two countries. Such cooperation had been kicked off with a bilateral meeting between North-West Air Navigation and ANS Finland, which took place in Saint Petersburg on 26 November 2019.
