State ATM Corporation Experts Attend ICAO Meeting on Language Proficiency

The event was attended by experts from a number of states of the ICAO EUR region, representatives of the ICAO Headquarters and the EUR/NAT Regional Office, the Inter-State Aviation Committee (IAC), EASA, IATA, IFALPA, and the International Civil Aviation English Association (ICAEA).

Experts from the ATM and ASM department at State ATM Corporation and the Air Navigation Institute represented the Russian side remotely.

The meeting discussed the harmonization of language proficiency requirements implementation, use of best language training and testing practices, including online testing, as well as oversight of language testing centres.

The next meeting of the task force is scheduled for May 2023.
