State ATM Corporation Experts Awarded IATA Certificates

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) certified a number of experts from the State ATM Corporation who had completed the training course Benchmarking and Best Practices for Air Navigation Service Providers provided by IATA. The course was delivered by an IATA instructor who had taken part in the development of ICAO international standards. State ATM Corporation Deputy Directors General Nikita Danilov and Evgeny Melnikov handed out the certificates to the experts that had completed the course and successfully passed the examination.

The IATA course encompasses the best practices of the world’s leading air navigation service providers, the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL), and the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO). The course participants took note of the safety, operational efficiency and cost effectiveness best practices employed by foreign ANSPs. The course highlighted benchmarking frameworks, the development and implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and the application of benchmarking in a manner consistent with ANSP best practices.
