State ATM Corporation is Ready for Spring-Summer Navigation

On 25-27 April the Central Volga Air Navigation branch of the FSUE “State ATM Corporation” hosted a meeting dedicated to ensuring safety during spring-summer air navigation period 2017. The participants reviewed the results of autumn-winter air navigation season. Representatives of Federal Air Transport Agency, its regional agencies, the State ATM Corporation and its branches as well as civil aviation educational institutions took part in this event.  

The meeting discussed issues related to air navigation services, use of Russian airspace, CNS equipment and professional training. Safety in 2016, recommendations for ATS units following the results of accident investigations and report by the North-West Air Navigation branch on transmission to QNH and GNSS procedures were also among the topics for discussion.

Today the Corporation faces the task of ensuring air transport support during the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and 2018 World Cup. It is worth noting that all preparatory arrangements are conducted in a professional manner and on schedule.
