State ATM Corporation, Kazaeronavigatsia and NITA hold meeting

Last week, representatives of the State ATM Corporation, «Kazaeronavigatsia» - ANSP of the Republic of Kazakhstan and NITA, LLC conducted a meeting in Samara (“Central Volga Air Navigation” Branch).

The Parties discussed a pilot project implementation plan between Samara and Aktobe as well as technical specifications for the connection between Samara and Aktobe ATC centers via OLDI and NITA experts’ report on implementation option for OLDI communication.

Following the meeting outcomes, the Parties confirmed mutual interest and the need to carry out activities on the establishment of automated communication between ATC centers of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan via OLDI in 2015-2016. The next meeting is to be held in Astana (the Republic of Kazakhstan) in 4Q2015.
