State ATM Corporation meets MLS International College

22-23 June 2015, the representatives of the State ATM Corporation, the Institute of Air Navigation and MLS International College held discussions on ATCOs training. It was agreed that the training would be conducted under a joint programme developed by experts of the Institute of Air Navigation and MLS International College. The training will combine basic language training, radio phraseology in English, as well as practical exercises using an ATC simulator. This programme is considered to be the most effective method in the international aviation community.

Furthermore, it was agreed to significantly reduce the price of the training as compared to the prices offered to similar institutions from other countries. The Parties agreed the training commencement date as well as a number of ATCOs to be trained.

The Parties coordinated the training programme and respective arrangements for the management skill pool of the State ATM Corporation’s HQ and branches. The talks were held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and constructive dialogue. Following the meeting outcomes next steps for future cooperation and strategic partnership were outlined.
