State ATM Corporation takes part in the 32nd Meeting of the Eurasia Coordination Council and Coordination Group of Experts
From 31 May to 3 June, the 32nd Meeting of the Eurasia Coordination Council and Coordination Group of Experts took place in Yerevan, Armenia. State ATM Corporation was represented at the meeting by the delegation headed by Director General Igor Moiseenko.
From 31 May to 3 June, the 32nd Meeting of the Eurasia Coordination Council and Coordination Group of Experts took place in Yerevan, Armenia. State ATM Corporation was represented at the meeting by the delegation headed by Director General Igor Moiseenko. The meeting was attended by 60 representatives of air navigation enterprises of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, international aviation organizations such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), as well as Russian and foreign industry representatives.
Galust Poghosyan, a representative of the Armenian aviation authorities, gave a welcome speech to the delegates. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Eurasia Coordination Council Ulukbek Rakhmanov.
As part of the meeting, members of the Eurasia Coordination Council presented reports on their enterprises’ activities since the 31st meeting held in September 2015, listened to the report on the results of work performed by the Coordination Group of Experts, and discussed prospects for international cooperation.
Igor Moiseenko, Director General of the State ATM Corporation, presented a report on the Enterprise’s activities, in which he provided information on changes in air traffic volumes in the Russian airspace, elaborated on the implementation of federal target programs, and pointed out the commissioning of TOPAZ automated ATM system in the new air traffic control tower at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky airport of “Kamchatka Air Navigation» branch in May 2016.
Oleg Senchukov, Head of the Main Air Traffic Flow Management Centre, presented a simulation model of air traffic flows redistribution as a result of restrictions imposed in the airspace of the Russian Federation.
The delegates and guests made special note of the high level of the event organization by Armaeronavigatsia.
The next 33rd meeting of the Eurasia Coordination Council and Coordination Group of Experts will take place in autumn 2016 in the Russian Federation.
