VII World Football Cup among ATCOs and CA Pilots in the Dominican Republic

18 November 2017 was the closing day of the VII World Football Cup among ATCOs and CA Pilots, which was held in Punta Cana (the Dominican Republic). The team from the United States of America has become the new winner by outscoring “International” team in a tough struggle during the penalty shootout.

Unfortunately, the State ATM Corporation Football Team could not defend their reputation of the strongest aviation football team for the seventh time. The Russian team lost its semi final game and was defeated by “International” team during the penalty shootout 4:5. The normal time ended in a draw 0:0. However, they managed to overcome the embarrassing defeat and beat the Caribbean nation team 5:1. The State ATM Corporation Football Team was awarded bronze medals.
