Central Volga Air Navigation, Samara
The Central Volga Air Navigation branch was officially established on 21 December 1993.
The area of responsibility of the Branch totals around 500,000 sq. km. Within the area of responsibility, there are 283 segments of air routes with a total length of 26,991 km, of which 244 segments (23,213 km) are international. The territory of the Branch includes 38 airports and 59 landing fields of various institutions.
The Branch currently employs over 2,000 people. The activities of the Central Volga Air Navigation Branch are certified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). In the nearest future, serious work will be carried out to improve the airspace structure. Tatarstan Air Navigation branch will become part of Central Volga Air Navigation.
