North Siberia Air Navigation, Tyumen
The North Siberia Air Navigation branch of FSUE State ATM Corporation operates within the territory of Tyumen region, Khanty-Mansiysk, and Yamalo-Nenets autonomous regions and consists of 8 ACCs: Tyumen ACC, Yugorsk ACC, Surgut ACC, Nizhnevartovsk ACC, Noyabrsk ACC, Tarko-Sakhalinsk ACC, Nadym ACC, and Yamal ACC.
North Siberia Air Navigation is a pioneer in developing and implementing ADS-B in the Russian Federation.
Given the geographical setting of Tyumen region, all transit traffic via Trans-Siberian and Cross-Polar routes goes through the area of responsibility of the Branch.
A great part of traffic from Europe to Japan, Korea, and China operated along these routes is highly advantageous both for Russian and international airspace users, as these are the shortest routes between major airports of Asia and Europe.
One of the key objectives of ATC system modernization is the establishment of Tyumen consolidated ACC.
