Coordination Council “Eurasia” started its work

On 16 April, the 38th meeting of the Coordination Council “Eurasia” commenced its work.

Representatives of The Federal Air Transport Agency, members of the Coordination Council “Eurasia” – FSUE State ATM Corporation, RSE “Kazaeronavigatsia” (Kazakhstan), Azaeronavigatsiya (Azerbaijan), CJSC “Armenian Air Traffic Services” (Armenia), SE “Belaeronavigatsia” (Belarus), SE “Kyrgyzaeronavigatsia” (Kyrgyzstan), SUE “Tajikairnavigation” (Tajikistan) and SUE Center “Uzaeronavigation” (Uzbekistan) participate in the event along with the representatives of international organizations – IATA, IAC and Russian industry - Concern VKO "Almaz-Antey"”, JSC ; “Azimut”, JSC; “Monitor Soft” Ltd.; NITA, LLC. to name but a few.

In his welcoming speech to the audience, the Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Dmitriy Yadrov, wished the participants fruitful work and expressed confidence that the meeting would contribute to development of cooperation and forging long-term relations in the new reality.

The participants were welcomed by the Director General of FSUE “State ATM Corporation” Dmitriy Bobylev who noted that in today’s rapidly changing environment cooperation within the framework of CC “Eurasia” has the potential for development and opens up new opportunities.

The Chairman of CC “Eurasia” - Deputy Director General of RSE “Kazaeronavigatsia” Ardak Utepov opened the meeting emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation within the organization and thanking the Russian side for organizing the event.

Quick note

The Coordination Council “Eurasia” was established in 1999 in order to expedite resolution of existing ATM issues, coordinate the actions of ANSPs in the field of air traffic flow management, improve interaction between adjacent ATM units, as well as develop and submit to national aviation administrations coordinated measures aimed at improvement of national air navigation systems.
