Start of the 45th World ATC Hockey Tournament

On 2 April 2018, Yubileyny Sports Palace (St. Petersburg) will host the 45th World ATC Hockey Tournament.

The tournament has a long history with the first championship held in 1972 in Boston.

All games are played according to the rules of world veteran championships, i.e. without any hip checks and clap bombs. Staying healthy is the top priority for air traffic controllers. Every game has 3 periods of 12 minutes each (10 points can be scored in each period). The game winner is determined by total points, and the champion - by total points scored in all games.
