ATC Global 2015, the flagship event of ATC Week, opens its doors to the international air traffic management community in Dubai on Monday
This Monday, 5th October, the ATC Global Exhibition & Conference will welcome international air traffic management (ATM) professionals from over 100 countries to the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airports; President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority; Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group, Chairman of Dubai Air Navigation Services, ATC Global will unite leaders and executives from air navigation service providers (ANSPs), aviation regulators, air traffic management suppliers, defence organisations, airports and airlines to build partnerships, share knowledge, meet new customers and debate the most critical issues facing ATM.
A truly global event, ATC Global will welcome delegates and speakers from 106 countries, 45 more than in 2014. ANSPs and Civil Aviation Authorities participating include NavCanada, State ATM Corporation Russia, DECEA (Brazil), FAA, NATS, Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia, ENAC (France), ATMB (China), NAV Portugal, Air Navigation Services Germany, Slovenia Control, HungaroControl (Hungary), LVNL (Netherlands), NANSC (Egypt), CAA (Botswana), ONDA (Morocco), Kazaeronavigatsia (Kazakhstan), Bulatsa (Bulgaria), BHANSA (Bosnia & Herzegovina), CAAS (Singapore), ROMATSA (Romania), UKSATSE (Ukraine), COSESNA (Central America), Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation, CORPAC (Peru), Empresa Nacional de Exploração de Aeroportos e Navegação Aérea (ENANA), DGCTA (Argentina) and GACA (Saudi Arabia).
The event has also secured the support of local stakeholders UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), Dubai Air Navigation Services (DANS), Dubai Airports and Emirates Airline.
Speaking on behalf of Dubai Air Navigation Services (DANS), Mr. Nils Svan, Senior Vice President of Strategy said “We are looking forward to the vast opportunities that ATC Global will present and the platform of knowledge exchange it will provide to the aviation sector in the UAE.”
The event will feature 21 free-to-attend workshops and seminars on the exhibition floor covering a wide range of topics including ATM in Africa, Aircraft Satellite Communications, the Middle East ATM Enhancement Programme, Surveillance and Tracking and Remote Tower and Dynamic Airspace Use. Alongside this, a prestigious three-day conference will feature over 50 world-renowned speakers from across the industry including Frank Brenner, Director General, EUROCONTROL; Mohamed Khonji, Director, ICAO Middle East Office; Igor Moiseenko, Director General, State ATM Corporation Russia; Paul Griffiths, CEO, Dubai Airports; Patrik Peters, President, IFATCA and Lt.
