Air traffic services at Kamchatka Air Navigation branch, FSUE “State ATM Corporation” are now provided with the use of a state-of-the-art automated TOPAZ ATM system after an authorization for commissioning of a new control tower at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport was granted by the Federal Air Transport Agency.

On 28 April 2016, at 00:00 UTC, responsibilities for air traffic management in the upper airspace of “EAST” Sector of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky ACC were transferred to «Kamchatka-1» Sector of Magadan Flight Control Centre in full compliance with the Russian Federation Government Decree № 652 dated 01.09.2008 on approval of Federal Target Programme of Russian ATM System modernization (2009-2020) and Magadan ACC consolidation Action Plan.

Commission of experts including representatives of Central Siberia Air Navigation branch, Krasnoyarsk ATM center and NITA held a technical meeting for the progress of  ATM system introduction in Krasnoyarsk consolidated center.

Last week, “Kamchatka Air Navigation” Branch of State ATM Corporation conducted VOLKAM/16 international remote volcanic ash exercises for the Far Eastern part of ICAO European Region.

This Monday, 5th October, the ATC Global Exhibition & Conference will welcome international air traffic management (ATM) professionals from over 100 countries to the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE.

CANSO (Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation) has officially notified the State ATM Corporation management on its decision to relocate the Global ATM Summit and 18th Annual General Meeting which were originally planned to be held in Moscow this year.

From 10.00 a.m. Moscow time on 03 April 2014 until 00.00 on 04 April 2014 Simferopol ACC which forms a part of “Crimea Air Navigation” and is operating within the Joint Air Traffic Management System of the Russian Federation provided ATC to 58 flights of Russian and 87 flights of foreign carriers. In total, air navigation services were provided to 145 flights.
